[News] Lee Minho becomes Casanova

Actor Lee Min Ho became a Casanova who lured and made females cry which earned him the nickname as ‘Century of a Casanova.’

In the first episode of ‘City Hunter’ which aired on May 25th, Lee Min Ho appeared with Park Min Young, Goo Hara, and Min Young Won, where he showed different tactics for all three females which created a buzz of curiosity.

Last month in April at a club in Seoul Gangnam-gu, there was a shooting for ‘City Hunter’ where Lee Min Ho and Min Young Won had an affectionate club date. Lee Min Ho, who transformed into a “Century of a Casanova,’ sat next to Min Young Won, who used a lot of her charms by using a cute tone of her voice to ‘skinship’ [T/N: this word is used to Korea to express a couple touching one another such as holding hands].

Lee Min Ho showed two different reactions by accepting and rejecting her affections which were used as one of his main tactics to show a perfect technique in being a Casanova. Saeba Ryo, the original character from the ‘City Hunter’ manga, showed similar tactics by using his ‘Seduction Skills’ to lure the pretty females.

Also on this day, the reason why Lee Min Ho approached Min Young Won was not just to lure her to him, but also had to do with his work. Although he was with her, he showed no interest in her which created curiosity of wanting to know the real reason behind his approach.

Lee Min Ho and his ‘target girl’ Min Young Won had appeared in a drama before in ‘Boys Over Flowers’ where Min Young Won played one of the three girls who kept picking on the female character, Geum Jan Di.

They were able to film together because of Director Jin Hyuk who saw both of them appear in ‘Boys Over Flowers,’ and it has been almost two years since they filmed a drama together.

Although it has been two years since they saw each other, they were able to show a natural performance and atmosphere during the filming. Instead of feeling awkward or shyness with one another, they showed a pro-like performance and were able to complete the shooting perfectly.
